Corrective Procedures for Scars or Stretchmarks even Areola Repigmenting

Multi-trepanic Collagen Actuation (MCA), also known as dry needling, is a treatment for scars, acne pits, and hypopigmented areas. It promotes a natural ability of the body called homeostatis, which is its ability to return to a state of normalcy. Multiple tiny needle punctures delivered by a tattoo machine break up scar tissue and stimulate skins cells to produce natural pigment and collagen. This restores proper color to the tissue, diminishes shine, improves texture, and flattens the scar. MCA can even restore pores and hair folicles in scarred skin.

BROWN SPOTS CAN ALSO BENEFIT FROM MCA

In addition to MCA, pigment can be added to camouflage scars. Combining MCA and pigment camouflage can provide more immediate results.

Two or three 30 minute procedures may be required for the best outcome. Clients see a difference in their skin immediately and continue to have progressively better results for up to a year.

Mole removed by surgical incision, which left a raised, reddened scar. MCA was applied causing new cell growth and the reduction of scar tissue.

MCA breaks up scar tissue and smoothes out raised scars. Client saw a dramatic improvement in just 3 months.

MCA is a remedy for the cause, not just a treatment for the symptom

Areolas and 3D Nipples

Sometimes it’s cancer that leads us to reconstruction. Sometimes it’s the desire to be all we can be, maybe a little better. We don’t always have control over the way things turn out. If you didn’t get the results you hoped for there is a way to improve your final outcome with camouflage, or a tattooed areola that mimics nature. This can give you the confidence and balance that surgeries sometimes can’t replace.

Areolas are the circular, darker colored areas of skin that surround the nipples on human breasts. Both areolas and nipples can be distorted, discolored or lost altogether due to mastectomy or breast augmentation surgery. Permanent Makeup can reconstruct areolas and nipples even creating 3-dimensional nipples where no nipple exists. The techniques used are micropigmentation, which is the tattooing of pigment in the skin, and Multi-Trepanic Collagen Actuation (MCA).

Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act

The Woman’s Health and Cancer Rights Act (WHCRA) SIGNED INTO LAW in 1998 mandates insurance coverage for surgery and reconstruction following a mastectomy. Health insurance companies and HMOs are generally required to provide WHCRA benefits to individual and employer policies. They should cover the expense of repigmentation as part of your post surgical reconstruction process. This required coverage includes all stages of reconstruction of the breast on which the mastectomy was performed, surgery and reconstruction of the other breast to produce a symmetrical appearance, prosthesis and treatment of physical complications from the mastectomy, including lymphedema.
