Pre-Procedure Instructions
- Do not drink alcohol, coffee, energy drinks, or other caffeinated drinks 24 hours before any procedures. They can increase swelling, bruising, and bleeding.
- Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, vitamin E, fish oils 24 hours before procedures. They can increase swelling, bruising, and bleeding.
- Do not have intense sun exposure 2 days before procedures. They can cause excessive skin exfoliation that removes color.
- If you have a history of cold sores, fever blisters, or herpes simplex, please contact your physician for a prescription for medication to prevent breakouts.
- Don't apply anti-aging creams to the procedure area 1 week before any procedure and 15 days after. Anti-aging creams include Retinols/Retina-A, lactic acid, other acids, call if you are not sure.
- No chemical peels, laser peels, or micro-demabrasion 1 week prior to procedures.
- No lash growth stimulant like Latisse, RapidLash, GrandLash, etc, 1 month before eyeliner procuredures.
- Botox or lip fillers should not be done prior to procedures to ensure evenness of brows, winged eyeliner, or lips. Do not get Botox or lip fillers 3 months before, but you can get it done after your touchup without compromising the permanent makeup.
- While on your menstrual cycle, you can be hyper-sensitive at the procedure site.
